Faith-based Organizations and the Implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework

About the Report

A key focus for CBD COP16 will be on the monitoring and implementation of the KMGBF.

Faiths for Biodiversity is compiling a report to showcase how faith-based organizations in all parts of the world are working to implement the KMGBF. A main component of the report will be highlighting case studies of best practice.

Representatives of organizations and communities, faith and non-faith based, are invited to submit their case study to be considered for inclusion in the report.

Submit your Case Study

We are looking for case studies that highlight:

  • Local community activities that are protecting and restoring biodiversity

  • Partnerships – between faith groups, business, government or other community organizations

  • Innovation, i.e. financing models, community engagement, youth participation, communications

  • Projects that have been active for at least 12 months since January 2023

Submissions are open from April 1st through to May 10th, 2024.
